TakeTheTime.ca Sale/Exchange Terms and Conditions

This section outlines the terms of sale (“Terms”) for products available from Take The Time e-store. In these terms Take The Time Inc is referred to as “TTTI” or “We”, and you the buyer are referred to as “You” or “Your”, as applicable.

1. Intended Customer

a. The Take The Time estore is intended for customers purchasing products for personal & children & baby care products. Resale of products purchased under these Terms is prohibited. This resale prohibition is a material condition to Your rights under these Terms, and it is agreed that any direct or indirect distribution,transhipment and /or sale of products by You or others purchasing through You will be a material breach of these Terms and will result in serious and irreparable harm to TTTI for which money damages will not be adequate remedy. In event of such breach, You agree that TTTI, in addition to any other remedies it may have at law and/or in equity, will be entitled to injunctive relief to prevent any threatened or continued breach and to specifically enforce this provision. b.Will not knowingly accept any order from a person under the age of majority.

2.Pricing.

The prices advertised on this site are for Take The Time e-store orders only. All prices are listed in Canadian dollars. Prices and the availability of item are subject to change without notice. We are not responsible for typographical or photographical errors.

3.Fees,Taxes & Tax Exempt Purchasing

The shipping and handling charge is intended to compensate TTTI for the cost of handling Your order,packaging the product(s) You have purchased, and delivering them to You and/or to the recipients(s) You designate. Prior to submitting Your payment information, you will have the opportunity to review the product prices,sales tax, and shipping & handling charges. We do not allow address changes after an order has been confirmed. Delivery dates are best estimates only based on the number of business days from the date of the shipment. Appropriate taxes are changed on all orders based on the province to which shipment is made. TTTI cannot accept tax exempt orders.

4.Payment Options

TTTI accepts MasterCard or Visa or PayPal. You must use a Canadian credit card with Canadian billing and shipping addresses. Your card will not be charged until your orders ships. If Your card expires before the order shipped, We will notify you, and ask You to enter the credit card number again with the new expiration date. When You place an order at the Take the Time e-store, Your credit card information is encrypted using a VeriSign Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) Certificate. Credit card information is not stored on Take The Time e-store system; therefore it must be re-entered each time You place order.

5.Order Confirmation & Cancellation

a.TTTI reserves the right to decline or cancel orders at any time. Order confirmation, backorder notification and shipment confirmation are sent via e-mail to the e-mail address You used to create a Take The Time account. We assume no responsibility for issues resulting from such declines, cancellations, or e-mail notification failure. All orders are electronically transferred to the fulfillment center at the time they are placed, and they cannot be cancelled by You. If an order is processed in error, contact customer service immediately at 1-800-887-1527 for instructions.

b.TTTI will accept orders for shipment only to Your location (a street address is required) in Canada. Some restrictions may apply . No shipments will be made outside Canada or to a P.O box address.

6.Take The Time return policy

a. If you are not satisfied with a product you bought online at Take The Time e-store, for whatever reason, it is possible to return it within 30 days of receiving the product.

  • 1.Be sure to check the date on your receipt. Refunds are granted within 30 days of you receiving your order from Take The Time e-store.
  • 2.Call 1-800-887-1527 or email customer-service@takethetime.ca with your order number (Your order number can be found on Your packaging slip found in shipment). Describe the merchandise you would like to return and the reasoning for the return or exchange. You will be given a return merchandise authorization (RMA) code to reference in your return shipment.
  • 3. When returning or exchanging product, original shipping fees are not refundable. The customer is responsible for return shipping charges.Unless the merchandise is determined by TTTI, in its sole discretion, to be defective.
  • Important: In the event that returned merchandise ordered has items missing, the return may be refused, or the value of the missing materials may be deducted from the total credit amount.
  • Important: We highly recommend you insure your return shipment.

b. All merchandise returned to TTTI must be packed in the original packaging with a copy of the invoice/packing slip included to be eligible for return or exchange. IMPORTANT: In the event that returned merchandise ordered has items missing, the return may be refused, or the value of the missing materials may be deducted from the total credit amount.

c. Opened merchandise are subject to restocking fee of 25%.
